Well, it looks like summer is here now as we see 90+ degree days as far as the eye can see.
What a beautiful June we had! Last month was amazing weather for our Friday Night Beats & Bites concert series. 5 great Friday nights started with the Skydoggs, Feedback, Wasteland Kings, Martini Brothers and finishing with a bang with Dancehall Days. We hosted 150 people this past Friday for the show! Such a great turn out and so much fun to be had.
Due to the heat, we will be pushing back the start time for the 2nd half of our series. Doors will now be open at 7pm with the band playing 7:30-10:00pm. DJ Lotek will now play 10pm-midnight every Friday Night until September. As always Notorious PIE is on site for tasty pizza and ravioli.
We are almost sold out of some of our summertime white wines. Our 2021 Eternal Perspective Grenache Blanc is on the last case. We are dangerously low on our 2022 Eternal Beauty Grenache Rose, and 2020 Eternal Insight Marsanne from Boushey vineyard. Go online and grab a bottle before they are SOLD OUT.
Our 3rd annual Pride Festival on June 3rd was an amazing event. We welcomed over 700 people to our winery. Everyone was super happy laughing, dancing, and enjoying themselves. The all-ages dance party was fun, but of course was just a warm-up for the 3 headlining DJs. This event ran super smoothly, and customers actually helped clean up after the music stopped at 2am. We are certainly looking forward to next year’s event!
Did you know that we can host private events for you or your business? We have the capacity to host up to 500 people and can add catering to your experience. Also, we host many large groups of 10-40 people for tastings. These tastings run on average 1.5 hours. Please contact me for more information. Our outside patio is a great spot for after-work get-togethers.
We are still offering our Drink Washington State 2022 All-Natural Rose, 2021 Pinot Noir, and red sangria in kegs. Whether you work for a bar, restaurant or just want one for your house this is a great option. (Must be pushed with nitrogen)
We have some amazing bands coming up this month! First off, we welcome back your favorite pub band Bourbon & Bellows! These guys rocked our winery last year, complete with sing-a-longs and an accordion! The following Friday, July 14th, is going to be lit as we welcome back Diego Romero and Gary Winston to play a Prince driven set. Dress up in your favorite Prince outfit for free admission. Last year we hosted over 125 people for this show! If you think it can’t get any better, guess again! Our headliner for the following week is Grammy nominated Blues artist Solomon King and the Chosen. They are coming in from LA for our show and I couldn’t be happier. Check out one of his singles here. Tickets for this show are $15 or $10 for wine club guests.
We aren’t done yet for July as we welcome Seattle’s own Goodtime Hustle to our winery in Walla Walla on July 28th. Goodtime Hustle is an electrifying four-piece band from Seattle, known for their genre-defying sound that weaves together elements of alt-country, jam band, psychedelic rock, and folk music. Led by Bud Weather’s soulful vocals and Chris Denny’s blazing guitar, along with the band’s dynamic rhythm section comprised of Michael Gagliardo on bass and Tom Lash on drums, they keep audiences on their feet with infectious grooves and tight, improvisational jams.
We have a couple of great pouring events on the west side of Washington this month. We pour at Kirkland Uncorked July 14-16th and SIP Kirkland July 28th-30th. Check out their webpages for tickets and all wineries participating. We go to Mukilteo for the Chamber Winefest on August 5th. These events are a great opportunity to taste our new Eternal Beauty Rose, or Drink Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère!
We are now open 7 days a week. 11-4pm Sundays-Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays until 5pm. If you would like to visit us just submit a tasting request here and I will make sure we are ready for your group!
