A little mid-month update on our events at The INK (AKA our winery for the newbies)
We are gearing up for a busy week at the winery. We have a huge show on Thursday. We are super excited for the Wasteland Kings to play Thursday Night Lights! Being that we are bringing the whole band, we will have a modest $5 cover at the door. These folks put on a damn good show, and you can check out one of their singles right here
2 days later, June 26, we are hosting a huge party for PRIDE month. Come celebrate Pride 2021 at the Ink. We wanted to do something special, so we created a different type of gathering. From 5pm until 8pm will be a family friendly, all ages event. There will be local LGBTQ+ artists performing, booths with information, a food truck and more! Mi Pueblito will be serving up fantastic Mexican food from 5-9 PM. We are very excited to have Calico Bones play for us from 6-7 PM, a Walla Walla favorite. Kaleidoscope Yoga and Alchemy Studios will be offering up a free yoga class along with information on their inclusive and healing studio which is located in the heart of downtown.
Then, from 8:30PM until 11:30PM there will be a 21+ dance party! For this, there will be a $5 cover at the door. We are excited to showcase Fr3akquency69 as our headline DJ. Fr3akquency69 is a Mexican artist who grew up in the valley. Channeling her ancestral roots, her music is a mix of Latinx trap, big bass drops, hip hop and conscious messages.
We will have a silent auction where all the proceeds go to Triple Point of Walla Walla, a local nonprofit that supports the health and wellbeing of our LGBTQ+ youth. Make sure you bring cash, check, or your Venmo information to bid. Bidding will be allowed virtually as well if you are unable to attend and want to support. The official list will be posted on Friday, June 25th to our Facebook page.
