As they say, “Stick a fork in it because harvest is done!’
What a great harvest it was and the largest since 2016 for us. We really focused on the Drink Washington State label this year and expanded our Pinot Noir and Carmenere programs. Overall, we ended up increasing by 50%, tons harvested from last year! In a strange year where most producers are producing less or nothing at all, to increase production, I feel, shows the overall success of our labels.
We produced a couple of wines and styles this year that we had not before and that is a testament to our assistant winemaker, Hannah Thorning. Hannah graduated with me and was a true blessing to have during the chaos of harvest. She allowed me to focus on the overall picture and; therefore, become creative with different lots as I knew she could handle the fermentation and daily needs of the ferments.
That being said, look out for our sparkling rose and sparkling Pinot Noir. The latter we are looking to release by Thanksgiving as this wine screams turkey dinner! We still have many lots fermenting, and will continue to monitor them and press them out over the next couple weeks.

With Fall release weekend coming up we have been fielding a lot of questions about what will be available and when we will be open. During that weekend, we will be releasing a new wine, our 2016 Eternal Heritage Syrah from Morrison Land Vineyard. We will be open Thurs-Sun, 11-5pm, which is also when wine club members can pick up their wines. If you would like to taste; however, we are requiring a reservation as we have limited space and seating options. We have been turning away a lot of groups lately.
