Eternal Wine

ETERNAL WINE

Single Vineyard Wines

Hello harvest,

It certainly has been a busy September for us.  Busy and productive which is always good.  We continue to get more great press and were just mentioned in the NY Times and ABC News.  The article itself was on how Walla Walla is the new Rhone Valley.  I love this article because that is what I saw when I first visited Walla Walla, 8 years ago.  I believed this so much that my label, Eternal Wines, is almost completely Rhone Varietals.

We were just voted best Viognier in the Pacific Northwest (speaking of Rhone Varietals)!  “SIP Northwest” magazine recently released their top wines of 2019.  Our 2017 Eternal Sunshine Viognier shined, along with our single vineyard Syrah.  Our 2016 Eternal Darkness and 2016 Eternal Foundation were both judges’ picks along with our 2016 Eternal Gratitude Merlot.

We have started to bring in some fruit.  As I sit here writing this, we have 3 active ferments and are bringing in Syrah and Viognier from Les Collines Vineyard in Walla Walla tomorrow.  These grapes will be made into our Eternal Sunshine and Eternal Zen.  Speaking of our Eternal Sunshine, we will be releasing our 2018 Eternal Sunshine Viognier for fall release which is Nov. 1-3rd.   This wine sells out in weeks, so don’t miss this small, 1 barrel only, production release.

Our Good Vibes wine club members should have already received an email and letter with the whole release.  We are releasing 6 wines in total:  2 whites, 4 reds.  Two are Drink Washington State wines and four are Eternal Wines.  These wines will be shipping out Oct 14th for our shipping members.

We have a Rocks District Winemaker event in Seattle on October 21st.  2nd Annual, RDW Seattle SOMM Tasting Event.  Come meet the winegrowers and taste the “Place”:  what has been described as the most distinctive AVA in the United States, and one of the world’s fine wine regions with something truly spectacular to say!

I love Carmenere and if you don’t know a lot about it don’t worry.   I went to Chile to study the grape and produced a documentary.  It’s an easy 20 minutes, so grab your favorite Carmenere and sit back and enjoy!   Link here.

We are open for tastings at the winery Wednesday through Sunday 11-5pm. Mon/Tues by appointment only.
