Eternal Wine

Single Vineyard Wines

Well this is a different harvest!

I’m a bit late writing this email so please forgive my tardiness. Harvest, or more importantly the wines, takes precedence over everything this time of year! Last year, by this time, we had pulled in 33 of 38 tons. Currently, we have pulled in only 14, mostly whites and our rosé. This year’s rosé will not be from Morrison Lane as last year’s, nor will it be from Syrah. This year I decided to take a different approach. Each year is unique, and I decided that Grenache would be the best for this year.   Our Grenache is from French Creek vineyard which is just past Red Mountain on the way to Prosser.

Our Fall Release weekend is coming, and wine club members should have already received an email with our new selections. On that note, we are releasing 3 new wines on the Eternal side and 2 new ones on the Drink Washington State side. It’s a great feeling saying we are on our second vintage of some of these wines and that is pretty much the case across the board. Our Eternal Bliss fortified Syrah is back. This vintage 2016 is from Patina Vineyard in Walla Walla. We are so happy to announce we tripled production of this and have 74 cases available for you this year! Another returning favorite is our Eternal Sunshine Viognier from Morrison Lane vineyard in 2016. Again, we only have 24 cases this year, so this will go quickly! I strongly recommend picking up at least 6 bottles as this is showing wonderfully. A new wine for us is our 2015 Eternal Gratitude Merlot from Gamache vineyard. This is the only wine and vineyard where we have made all 4 vintages (2014-2017).  While this isn’t our normal Rhone varietals, I have a special place in my heart for Washington Merlot and Roger Gamache who kindly donated his 2014 grapes. Those grapes were the ones that went into our first wine, the Rocketman Red!

All 3 of our single vineyard Syrah received 90 points from Wine Enthusiast. To celebrate, we are offering free shipping on all orders of our Syrah (2 bottle min). We are also extending to you a special onetime only price on a case sampler pack; only $625. In addition, you can purchase a ½ case package and an exclusive engraved wine box set with all 3 wines for just $250! We are running very low on our Syrah and they will not last long. You can order wines here.

We will continue to have live music at least once/week for the Fall. Ivan Huera and Robert Gomez, AKA Zemog Otrebor, are on regular rotation in the tasting room as their unique styles make them local favorites. Mari Gisele will also be playing again. Free live music is from 5:30-7:30pm. Just a reminder that we always offer $5 glass pours of our Drink Washington State white wines, Eternal Beauty Rosé and Sangrias!

With harvest here, we will be doing less out of town events. We will pick back up with the weekly out of town pourings in January of 2018.
