ETERNAL WINE

Single Vineyard Wines

Harvest already?  Where did summer go?

Well here we are again.  Can you believe this is our 5thharvest!  Wow! The time certainly does fly.  I’m so excited this year to be working with some new great vineyards:  Dionysus, Cabernet Sauvignon and Lawrence vineyards,  Grenanche, and let’s not forget about Noble Rock, Syrah in the Rocks district of Milton Freewater.  Along with the new, there are the steady vineyards that we love such as Les Collines, Gamache, Cockburn Ranch and Discovery Vineyard.  We are looking at 30 tons on the Eternal Wine side alone this year!

It is so nice to be in my own place for harvest and to own all my equipment.  This will be the first year that I can say this and because of this I’m looking forward more to this harvest than any other previously. Also, I can say I am more prepared and ready this year to make some stand out wines for you!  We have a new basket press that will really help the structure of our reds, so with all these upgrades across the board, I say, “bring it on!”  Soon there will be all night dance parties with me and the yeast rocking out!

The inaugural release of De La Luz wines will be on September 15th and feature his 2015 Merlot and 2016 Tempranillo.  This will be at the INK from 5-8pm.  Don’t forget this is also Mexican Independence Day and we have some tricks up our sleeves.  We will have an abundant supply of appetizers and some live music to pump you up!  Don’t miss out on my brother’s wines.  I actually helped him make the 2015 Merlot so you know it’s good.  😊

Join us this Monday for Food truck night party!  Food truck night is the first Monday of the month with the last one for the season being this Monday.   A side note:  we are no longer offering Panini’s at the INK as harvest is here and we need to focus on making the wines.

I had my final road sales trip before harvest this last weekend and had a blast in Spokane and Seattle.  I really enjoy the new relationships that come from doing these tastings; however, my job is to make wine now. Feel free to swing into the INK on the weekends and see how harvest is going.  It’s a lot of work but a lot of fun too.

Our downtown tasting room is now open 5 days a week:  Wednesdays & Sundays 12-6 pm and Thurs-Sat. 12-8 pm.

Our airport location is open Friday-Sunday 11-5 pm. *We are open later for special events.

Free live music is from 5:30-7:30 pm.  Locals taste our Drink Washington State wines for free.
