Thursday Night Lights begins, Distribution to Idaho and new scores

Party on!

Wow! As I said on social media, this release is my favorite of all time, and this might just be my favorite newsletter! So many AMAZING things to mention, so let’s get to it. We are less than a week away from our first Thursday Night Concert & Food Truck series, and we are busy! Lots of bottling at the winery, consolidation, and the daily Tetris game of rearranging the cellar. I can’t believe how many barrels we were able to fit in!

Our Thursday Night Lights series will start on May 6th with Rouge Lobster and the Where There’s Food Eat It food truck. We have some great bands coming through:  some old favorites, and some potential new ones. Check out the schedule below. We are going to extend our back patio out for these events. This will allow us to properly social distance while still enjoying the weather, bands, and great food! We will have patio tables and seating available, some of which will be reservation only. You can also bring a blanket and sit on the grass, or even your own folding chairs. Feel free to call me with any questions you may have.  Again, there is no cover charge to get in for any show* and is for all ages.

You can now find your favorite Drink Washington State and Eternal Wines in Idaho! We are excited to announce The Wine Cellars of Northwest is our distribution company for Idaho. They focus primarily focus on Boise, so if you are in Boise request our wines from your favorite shop! Thanks in advance.

We just received our first ever scores from Robert Parker and the write up on some of the wines is just awesome. Our 2016 Eternal Foundation received 91 points, and Anthony Mueller (the reviewer for Robert Parker) said, “This Syrah is an instant success that clearly displays complexity and texture with a balanced frame that delivers pleasure at every turn.  Well done!”  Our 2016 Eternal Darkness received 90+ points and 2016 Eternal Zen scored 90 points.

Join us May 7-9 for Spring Release, where everyone will be able to taste our new releases. Our Good Vibes wine club customers already received their wines. This is going to be a busy weekend, and without reservations we will most likely have to turn you away, which we don’t want to do, so make reservations here. https://eternalwine.com/wine-tasting/

Our Drink Washington State Carmenere continues to gain fans. It recently won platinum at the Best of the Best Platinum competition from Wine Press Northwest. My Carmenere documentary “Through the grapevine” Link here.  We are currently pouring our 2017 Drink Washington State Carmenere.

We have reformatted our tastings, so you now have 3 options:  Interesting whites, Mix it up or Big reds. If you are not a wine club member these tastings are $15 and waived with a $30 or more bottle purchase. We are also allowing you to make your own tasting:  5 different wines of your choice for $20, waived with a 2 bottle purchase. Of course, our wine club members can select their own tastings complementary.

Interested in joining our wine club? We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label.  You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year:  your choice of 6 or 12 bottles. For more information check us out here. https://eternalwine.com/wine-tasting/
