Spring Release in Walla Walla Plus Beats & Bites starts tonight!

Welcome to Spring Release weekend!

Let’s celebrate! Today we kick off our 4th season of Beats & Bites! We welcome Walla Walla locals, Feedback. These guys rock! Seriously, they play rock music led by front man Mike Mendoza. In honor of Cinco De Mayo in a couple of days, we welcome the Mi Pueblito food truck serving up your favorite tacos and burritos. Doors at 5pm with live music from 5:30-7:30pm. There is a $5 cover for each of our shows, but wine club members get 2 complementary tickets each week. These tickets are under your name at the door.

Spring kickoff weekend is also here, and we are looking at a full weekend of tasters and good times. If you are joining us, we request that you please make a reservation as our space is limited and standing tastings just are not as fun. We just released 6 new wines (3 are wine club only wines due to production size) and can’t wait to share them with you. We are open 7 days a week. Tasting room hours are Fri-Sat 11-5pm, Sun -Mon 11-4pm. If you would like to visit us, just submit a tasting request here and I will make sure we are ready for your group!

Next Thursday we welcome our resident food truck for the year, Wild Thyme. This truck is the brainchild of Tristyne and Carl Brindle. They will be serving up tasty food each Thursday night starting next week.

This month we welcome one of my personal favorite bands from Spokane, Snacks at Midnight. These guys just won best original music band in Spokane after placing 2nd last year. They recently released a new album and new single titled “Fuck You,” complete with an amazing music video. Check it out here. We also welcome back for a 3rd straight year the Coyote Kings w/Tiph. By now you know that they put on a great show, so don’t miss this year’s rendition.

We launched our brand-new distribution only label, ‘Red, White, & Buffalo,’ last month. These wines will be hitting stores in New York any day now as we sent out 3 pallets of these yummy wines last week. We produced a red blend, Riesling and Chardonnay. These wines are distributed by Try-It distributors with 8 different branches throughout the state. Not only a great value at around $20 a bottle, but all 3 were just reviewed and scored 90 points each from Owen Bargreen.

We received more great scores and awards for our wines last month. SIP Northwest released their “best of the best” winners for wines, beer, and liquor. We won 2 gold medals, one for our now sold out 2018 Rocketman Red blend and the other for our unreleased 2022 Eternal Sunshine Viognier. They both scored 90 points! The Viognier will be in the Fall shipment for our wine club members.

Looking back at April I realize why I am so tired. It was a jam-packed month with trips to Seattle and Las Vegas. We also had Spring Kickoff weekend in Walla Walla and Hospice Du Rhone in town last weekend. I was also busy hiring someone for my days off at the winery and for our Beats & Bites series. I am happy to announce that we have hired Sommelier Dan McCaffery, who used to run the Marcus Whitman wine list and restaurant. It is an honor to work with someone who is as experienced in the wine field as he is. Come see him Tuesday-Thursday at the winery.

Join us for our annual Pride Festival on Saturday, June 1st, 2024. We are excited to have Mi Pueblito and Wild Thyme on site for this event serving up delicious food. We are still adding vendors and more, so feel free to reach out if you would like to be involved. Pre-sale tickets for the 21+ DJ party are only $10 and available at our webpage here.

Interested in joining our wine club? Free to join and free shipping! We have 3 different tiers. The Sir McCartney is just Eternal Wine selections, the Hexum is a mixture of both labels, and the Petty is just our Drink Washington State label. You can join for free, and it’s just 2 shipments a year: your choice of 6 or 12 bottles. For more information check us out here.
