Wow! We have made so much progress this last month, and one set back.
This last month we installed the misters around the patio space which cools the patio off nicely. We also added some more plants around the patio. As Will Ferrall says, “Let’s get Tropical!” We also had some unexpected outdoor work done, as Monday the beer delivery guy (who has been our normal guy for months) hit the power line which caused 9 electrical poles to snap like toothpicks. We couldn’t get out or in for a while and had to close early due to safety reasons. We are back open now, however the lines by our entrance are still lower than normal at the time of writing this only 14.2 ft. The legal minimum is 15.6 ft.
We have received more amazing accolades for our wines! This time from the Pacific Northwest wine competition. This was their 10th annual awards version. Wines scored extremely well as we received 93 points and double gold for our 2024 Eternal Lust Albariño, and our 2022 Drink Washington State Reserve Chardonnay. The reserve Chardonnay which we just released for the Spring shipment also won Best Chardonnay! Our Eternal Passion Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and 2018 Eternal Heritage Syrah received 92 points, gold. Our brand-new 2024 Eternal Beauty rosé received a silver.
We will be opening on Tuesdays again starting, July 8th. La Ramada food truck will be on site every Tuesday starting at 11am. Introducing wined down Tuesdays! From 5-8pm all wines by the glass are half priced and all wines to go are 10% off.
Our wine slushies by the glass have been a hit. We have decided to have a little contest with our flavors and have them go up against each other March madness style. Come in and try both to cast your vote on which one moves forward. I personally can’t wait for the different flavors we will come up with! I loved the Pina Colada with our Chardonnay and the Mojito with our Roussanne last week.
I just made some sangria for Quirk brewery, the first batch of the year! Swing by our old stomping grounds at the airport to try a glass! We are also now serving red wine Sangria by the glass made with our Drink Washington State Cabernet.
We just added a couple more split A/C units and just in time for the 100-degree highs. The tasting room now feels amazing whether it’s hot or cold outside! I also sanded the bathroom floor down and will need to do one more round before we can pour some epoxy on the floors to finish the room. It’s amazing that we have owned the building for over a year now, but we are nowhere close to complete.
Thursday night karaoke continue to gain momentum. Stop in and hang out on the patio or sing a song inside. What song will I sing next week? Last week I had some fun and broke out in Vanilla Ice’s, “Ice, Ice Baby”. Don’t forget happy hour pricing from 5pm-7pm.

I will be bowling in the nationals in Baton Rouge later this month. I went last year for it in Vegas and was humbled. I am ready to bring the fire this year! It is going to be HOT down there, so inside AC is a must! Don’t worry. Our great staff will take care of you in my absence.

I am also currently booking with event planners and companies for meeting and event space. We would love to host your next celebration, meeting, or office party.
