Eternal Wine

ETERNAL WINE

Single Vineyard Wines

Hello again my friends!

Well even though it’s cold outside, it’s heating up at Eternal Wines and Drink Washington State! Whenever I get cold I like to warm up with 90 point wines, and it’s even better when one of those scores is from the Wine Enthusiast.

Keep a look out for the May issue which will feature our wines. Scoring 90 points on a white wine is hard to do which makes these scores even more exciting! Taking top honors was the 2015 Eternal Sunshine Viognier which received 91 points! The Eternal Patience Roussanne received 90 points and the Rocket Man Red Blend took 89 points home.

The Eternal Wines were also reviewed by the Washington Wine Blog. These reviews are directly from their webpage and can be viewed here.

2014 Eternal Wines ‘Patience’ Roussanne– Sourced from the Walla Walla Valley and aged on French oak for two years, this bright wine begins with aromatics reminiscent of lemongrasss, orange rind, ripe pear and honeydew melon. On the palate this is expanded to flavors of red delicious apple, ripe pear, vanilla and a lingering, 30 plus second cream finish. This is lovely and shows nice depth on the mid-palate while maintaining nice balance considering this hot vintage. Drink 2017-2023- 90

2015 Eternal Wines ‘Sunshine’ Viognier– This wine begins with marvelous aromatics of lychee, fire roasted pineapple, and baked New York apple with wild mushroom accents. This shows some really nice aromatic range. On the mid-palate there is lovely weight and texture, leading to flavors of lychee, creme brulee, vanilla, crushed wildflowers and a long creamy finish. This shows nice poise in this exceedingly hot vintage. Drink 2017-2022- 90

We are continuing our Cellar Sunday’s event. Each Sunday I will select a wine from my personal cellar to share with you at the tasting room. Last week it was a 2003 Vintage Port which was an awesome side by side with the Eternal Bliss fortified Syrah. Join us on Sundays 12-6pm.

I will be pouring at some really cool events this month. If you are in San Francisco or Seattle stop by and say hello!
