Hello again from harvest in Walla Walla!

We have now pulled in 55% of our grapes for the 2016 harvest. This year we increased our production to 20 tons! This has been an interesting year as we started pulling in fruit in the middle of September, but then the weather got chilly and nothing was ripening so we had a nice little limbo. However, now the weather has warmed up again and everything seems to be ready at the same time.

We will be pressing off our first 2 lots of Syrah shortly, and are excited to get the Les Collines Syrah and Cockburn Ranch Syrah into brand new French Oak Puncheons. Our 2016 Eternal Beauty Rose is looking great so far, and we are extremely happy with the flavors and aromas we are seeing already. This again will be mainly Syrah from Morrison Lane Vineyard.

We also had another great time picking the Bogin Vineyard in Walla Walla. We first picked the Syrah and most recently picked Cabernet Franc and Merlot. This is an extremely small vineyard with breathtaking views of the Valley. We always make it a fun pick and maybe next year you can help out!

We are happy to announce our new tasting room at 9 S 1st Ave in downtown Walla Walla. Our tasting room will open with the release of our Fall selections, and we are looking at middle to late October as a time frame.

As always thanks for reading.
